Welcome to
GAMI - the Global Advanced Manufacturing Institute was established in China in 2008 by wbk Institute of Production Science of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). KIT is one of the biggest science institutions in Europe. The only German University of Excellence with national large-scale research facilities combines a long university tradition with program-oriented top-level research. The university world, whose roots date back to 1825, stands for the broad range of disciplines and knowledge. Our university background provides us with state-of-the-art methods and concepts to reach operational excellence together with our partners. Our goal is to deliver individual strategies and smart solutions in production and supply chain management to create a long-term and sustainable benefit. Our Smart Manufacturing Labs serve as high-level training facilities as well as incubator for Sino-German innovation programs related to Smart Manufacturing.

KIT Research Innovation
As the only official overseas institution of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), KIT China Branch has been actively involved in implementing KIT's internationalization strategy since its establishment in Suzhou in 2014. We have not only established long-term partnerships with multiple renowned domestic industry-academia-research institutions, but also contributed to social and economic development and educational innovation by carrying out many Sino-German cooperation projects. We built advanced industrial platforms for transferring and incubating German technologies and scientific research results.

GAMI's full-time consultant members are all from prestigious universities in China and abroad, with a deep knowledge structure and industry experience.
GAMI Smart Manufacturing Services
Together with our partners, GAMI established the Industry 4.0 Demonstration and Innovation Center in 2015 and the Artificial Intelligence Innovation Factory in 2018. The platform was awarded the honorary title of "Sino-German Smart Manufacturing Cooperation Pilot Demonstration Project" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2018. Relying on this platform, GAMI continues to export the paths and methods of strategic transformation, management innovation and process optimization for manufacturing enterprises. We guide organizations in building digitalization strategies, and cultivating intelligent manufacturing talents.
