Since 2005, the wbk Institute of Production Science of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) has been working on industrial and research projects in China and has maintained a continuous growth of its business. Along with the development, wbk has established the GAMI-Global Advanced Manufacturing Institute and its corresponding legal entity, Suzhou SILU Production Engineering Services Ltd., Co. In 2014, the KIT China Branch was founded as the official representative of KIT in China to undertake KIT-related business affairs in China and to promote Sino-German research project cooperation.
